Chris Cunninghams "All is love"

Chris Cunninghams "All is love " Bjork video inspired my work in the summer i loved the organic/robotic juxtaposition and tried to incorporate that in the graffiti font i was working on.

MF Doom, All Caps

MF Doom's collaboration with Madlib not only yielded a fantastic album but in my opinion this is one of the best music videos to come from the hip hop canon. the animation of old comic book adverts is inspired and wonderfully executed. In a time when hip hop videos are all crouch grabbing, bling boasting waste's of money and resources (see anything by Puff daddy), this is a more than refreshing change.

DJ Q-Bert's Wave Twisters

In WaveTwisters DJ Q-bert provides all the music, sound effects and even dialogue in what's been described as a kung-fu sci-fi epic. The range of insane characters is vast and hilarious, the main character for example is a blue skinned break dancing intergalactic dentist and the arch villeins are couple of infants with mexican wrestling masks and evil symbiotic worms protruding from there navels.

Tim Biskups work is crisp and colourful but its the humour in every image which makes him so sucessful. This picture of Samurai jack surounded by a horde of monsters and robots is typical of Biskups work, the look on jacks face as he realises he's probley going to have to fight his way out, is the same expression we all pull on a long day at work when we FEEL like its four o'clock but when we check its only quarter past two.
