Chip Kidd

This is work by Chip Kidd, who seems to be the staff graphic designer at D.C. He developed the new splash titles for the all star series. i also found out that he has released a book completely devoted to his own collection of batman memorabilia. I have read his book on batman memorabilia and his passion for the subject shines from every page, its really very good, he owns packs of biscuits from 1989 when the first film was realized and has managed to make then look just as intricate apart of the batman mythos as the original comic book art he also owns. It brings back the excitement of looking at toys as a kid, some of the things make you jealous that he has them some of the thing make you think I'm glad I'm not that obsessive about batman, but the book and the photography of what is obviously his passion is crisp, fun and at times window into the mind of a true collector, it also fills me with confidence about my chosen career, because half the things in the book must have cost a fortune
